Brigham Young University, more commonly referred to as "BYU", is a private university owned and operated by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – more commonly known as the Mormon Church. The university is located in Provo, Utah, in the Utah Valley, and has over 33,000 full-time students, making it one of the largest universities in the Western U.S. and the largest university in the state of Utah.

BYU offers students the opportunity to pursue a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree in 300 fields of study and academic disciplines. Brigham Young University is regionally accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. Many of its individual schools also hold professional accreditation within their field.

Brigham Young University-Provo offers dual credit, distance learning, joint degree and study abroad programs. BYU accepts AP credits from high school students who have passed the requisite AP exams with a score of 3 or higher.

Brigham Young University was recently ranked 68th in the United States by U.S. News and World Report. BYU's School of Accountancy is consistently ranked among the top 5 in the nation (currently No.1) and their MBA program was ranked among the top 10 in the nation by the Wall Street Journal. The MBA program at BYU is currently ranked No.25 on the rankings of Top Business Schools in the United States.

Marriott School of Management

The Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University-Provo offers an array of undergraduate and graduate-level business programs for aspiring students, business professionals and executives. The school offers five Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees and six graduate degrees in various fields of business. At the undergraduate level, degrees are offered in Accounting, Information Systems, Finance, Business Management, and Recreation Management. At the graduate level, the school offers the Master of Accountancy (MAcc), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Executive MBA (EMBA), Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA), Master of Information Systems Management (MISM), and Master of Public Administration (MPA).
